The future of R&B…..Chrisette Michele is gradually creeping to the throne of the R&B regime whether you like it or not. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Chrisette perform last night at BB Kings in NYC and she single handedly man handled that stage. She breezed through several cuts from her first LP, I Am (Your Joy, Best Of Me) and some new treats from her sophomore LP, Epiphany. However, she didn’t play this head bopper that just dropped in my inbox. If you listen closely, you can hear Ne-Yo crooning away on the background vocals.
