Shawn talks with MTV about his upcoming experimental album which is inspired by the world. Hov mentions he hasn’t really started on the project yet but has gathered ideas, scraps, and a crazy record. There’s a good chance that he’s talking about a record he did with Pharrell who mentioned working on “new Jay-Z” during is keynote Q&A at MIDEM 2010.
“I got one crazy record,” he added. “To be honest with you, it’s crazy. I got one and we’ll build from there. Whether it comes out this year or next year, it depends on the music and how it’s coming out. I don’t really have any dates.”

The 2010 BRIT Awards are going down tonight in Earls Court, London and of course Mr. Empire State of Mind will be hitting the stage. During rehearsals, BRIT Awards correspondent, Goldierocks snatched some talk time with Jay’s band to discuss what to expect from the performance, being apart of the historic BRIT Awards, working with Hov, his relationship with Beyonce and their love for UK artist, Dizzy…among other things.
