VIBE dropped off footage of J. Cole, Bun B, Talib Kweli and Freeway performances at this year’s 2010 SXSW in Austin, TX. More after the jump.

The fact that this is an edit boggles my mind. Anyway, this is as close to a perfectly tagless version until the real one surfaces. Thank Me Travie Later, by way of Shake.

This is definitely being played at least x3 times a night while cruising the NYC city streets this Spring & Summer. While I’m still getting used to the chorus, the verses are on point. Add Drake (#YeahISaidIt), Luda or Kanye and you have a first single. I’m assuming this will appear on Jamie’s new opus, Body.

And to answer JD’s two inquires:
1. Because you’re famous Jermaine. How could you NOT understand that concept by now.
2. No it doesn’t make you a freak, it actually makes you a sexual person ready to explore the nasty of the nasty. Now if he was in a meeting with his agent and sent that text to her in the middle of the day with nothing to remind him of sex, well then we could call him a freak. But since his track record has already eclipsed Wilt Chamberlain’s, Tiger is now the FREAK of FREAKS lol.
Barry goes in on the Roscoe Dash tune, “All The Way Turnt Up.” I don’t light up that often so this doesn’t really apply to me. To all you other pot heads, enjoy!

On March 11 Chris Brown took a visit to Sisulu-Walker Charter School in Harlem to read to a slew of youngins. BET.com’s Kim Osorio caught up with Breezy to find out what prompted the visit.
Says Chris Brown
“I grew up in Harlem so as a kid, I used to hang out, play basketball in the streets, but I really didn’t know the educational side, so being able to come here it was good for me,” Brown said in an exclusive interview with BET.com.
I sat down with Snoop Dogg last week to discuss the release of More Malice, his DVD, his executive role at Capitol Records and whether or not a Dr. Dre produced album would ever see the light of day.
Says Snoop Dogg
“What is the possibility of a Dr. Dre-produced album from Snoop Dogg?” Snoop pondered during a sit-down with BET.com. “I’d say about a 90% chance it can happen. You know, the 10% that lies out there is about availability as far as from Dr. Dre, not me, because I know and understand that I’m good, but when I’m with Dr. Dre, I’m great.”

Another case of beats ending up in the hands of another artist. For those that follow The Neptunes like I do are Neptune stans will know Fam-Lay recorded a version of “Mr. Treat Ya Nose” that featured Slim Thug but was never released. Fam-Lay was to release his debut album Dat Missile many years back but you can count on your project never seeing the light of day when you’re on Star Trak. Oh yeah, Jadakiss was also on Fam-Lay & Slim Thug’s “Mr. Treat Ya Nose” as well. I doubt we’ll ever hear it, though….or wait.
