Ok, so the story goes as follows: Eminem released his new single “Not Afraid” today which was produced by the Toronto native, Boi-1da. But, what we didnt know was the beat actually belonged to Maino first.
The cut was supposed to be one of Maino’s singles from his sophomore project The Day After Tomorrow but was given to Eminem without Team Maino being informed. Fucked up aint it?
How in the hell did Maino’s beat end up in Em’s hands? Well apparently Boi-1da’s manager is the VP of Interscope. Not saying Boi-1da purposely gave away the beat, but something aint right about this situation. Hmmmm.

Eminem did this beat a ton more justice then maino would have.
any producer with half a brain would pull it form some nobody and give it to eminem

You know i dont know about this story, i think if someone doesn’t use a beat(aka maino for their project and the song goes under the radar, i believe the producer has the right to give the beat to someone else,that CD came out and did its thing already so thats maino’s fault.The sad thing is maino’s version is really good too,and should have used it as the single for his CD..oh well
