The one thing I can admire about Jermaine Dupri is that this cat STILL knows how to fun. It’s become a regular occurrence that once a certain level of success is achieved the normal activities you once found yourself wrapped up in no longer hold court in your daily duties.

But what I’ve noticed about JD, if anything, his love for DJ’ing has taken a new role in his career. Furthermore, the guy is actually enjoying himself while doing so. If you can’t tell by now, I’m still a kid at heart who likes to run around when the appropriate space is given. And though I’m among a crop of successful folks everyday, I still try to keep the “jaded” factor away from my spirit.

Now don’t get me wrong, there are days when I do become jaded and shy away from certain things and people, but when I see clips like the one above, I’m reminded I got into this business because I was a fan. I saw how much fun these folks were having and I somehow wanted to be apart of it. Hopefully, after watching that clip and reading this blurb, you’ll feel the same. If not, don’t worry- it’ll hit you one day.
