On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history… but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

The King of the South will be gracing JET’s newest issues where he doesn’t/does discuss details to his wedding. Right. Anyway, check out some behind the scenes footage from the JET photo shoot at T.I.’s ATL home, here!

VIDEO: Ne-Yo Explains Creative Process For 'Libra Scale', Fabolous Only Feature

July 29, 2010 |  by  |  Q&A, VIDEOS  |  No Comments  |  Share  |

About several weeks ago Ne-Yo paid a visit to the 106 & Park set to debut his mini movies “Beautiful Monster” and Champagne Life.” But before hitting the stage, yours truly caught up with the singer/songwriter to chop it up about his forthcoming project Libra Scale, the features on the project, the process in creating the album and how difficult it was coming up with ideas.

He also explained his work ethic outside his own project detailing that he could only write for females during the process in fear of giving away a hit to another R&B artist. But also explained that outside songwriting was shut down while recording Libra Scale.

Lastly, I asked Ne-Yo if he had to work with one particular artist forever who would he pick. His response might shock you….or it might not.

VIDEO: Nicki Minaj Breaks Down Tragic Ending Of 'Your Love' Visual

July 29, 2010 |  by  |  MUSIC, Q&A, VIDEOS  |  2 Comments  |  Share  |

Says Nicki,

“I just felt like that was the most emotional and truthful storyline,” Minaj explained. “I felt like mostly everyone would normally make themselves win in the end. I wanted to show that the only way I could be beat is if you cheat. If you cheat! If you play fair and square, I’m gonna win. It’s my little way of looking at it. Also, I felt it was almost heart-wrenching to see it. I made myself this nice girl in the video and you bond with the character, you know what I mean? You see her die. I wanted people to talk about it in the end. ‘Why did she make that decision?’ I wanted them to cry.”

VIDEO: The ILLZ: MPA (My Public Apology)

The ILLZ – M.P.A.(My Public Apology) (Official Video) from Delgis Mustafa on Vimeo.

Says Kristopher Ray-Tailey (filmmaker for MPA)

Round 3: don’t have a ton to say this time. Beauty of this video is what it become in contrast to what we set out to do. What was supposed to be a simple picnic vid became a sensual and romantic ode to French New Wave Films. I wanted it pretty, so I shot long lensed, and to give it that easy, nice flow, would give them topics to talk about and just let them interact as I shot. It was almost like I was staging a documentary and then capturing it. Of all our collabs, this may be the one I’m most proud of. I figured out how to rig a new lens system (my own secret) to give it a very cinematic feel. There’s something effortless and earnest about the video and that’s what I love. Even the performance shot was nailed in one take and I have no qualms about it, as it looks damn great.

“M.P.A. (My Public Apology)” was produced by Duke B, Telepopmusik with Vocals by Angela McCluskey. Model Co-Star: Lourdes Madera.

Download the “In Between Video Series” along with the videos and the songs on August 17th.

Mr. #2 album in the country lends his services to the Lex Luger homicide party anthem. If you ask me, Rozay is single  destroying the competition. Well, that’s until we get a CDQ of any of these. Till then, ROZAY!!!!!
