RR let go “Tippin In The Club” the other day (me no like that record) and now my greasy paws got hold of yet another track from Cornell’s Nelly 5.0 opus which is slated to hit later this year.
No word on whether or not both leaks are lead singles for the project. But if my spidey/A&R senses serve me correct, “Tippin” is for urban radio and “Just A Dream” is for the pop audience. We’ll see how this plays out. Personally, I’d appreciate it if Mr. Country Grammar gave us the rhetoric of “Hot In Here”, the vibe of “E.I.” and create that good ol COUNTRY SHIT he’s known for.

Last night HOT 97 & RR brought Fat Joe to SOB’s for Jose’s The Darkside album release concert. Judging by everyone in attendance, hip-hop is alive and well. Guest included Vado, Cassidy, Just Blaze, MOP, Redman, Pastor Troy, DJ Clark Kent, Miss Info, YN and plenty more. The Flash (Ernest Estime) documented the experience…like he wouldn’t.
