So according to YM President Mack Maine, Sherbert is pondering the thought of releasing his sophomore LP before Chris Cringle (Santa Claus) makes his rounds this winter. Ummmm, Sherbert I know you’re eager to get the fans their music and I know you love creating and competing with your peers, but unfortunately for you, you’ve set the bar extremely high for yourself.

Even though you distributed an R&B album this Spring that has yet to grow old in many iPods, disc changers, dorm rooms, radio stations and nightclubs I have to tug your shirt and ask that you pump the breaks on this thought. No this is not a form of hate because I actually enjoy your material (at times). I know X did it back in 1998, but you guys are FAR from similar and the times are extremely different.

Yeah you guys have your spots solidified so creatively it might make sense. However, the way you’re content is created is pretty much self inflicted and I highly doubt you’ve gone through any life alterting situations in the past 4 months. Maybe I’m wrong. You’re a good story teller (even though half the time you’re complaining about a female taking your heart and river dancing all over it).

Point is, wet your ears a little bit more. Tour the world a little bit more. Fall in and out of love a little bit more. Sing A LOT less. Oh and as for that R&B mixtape…..hey, do what you gotta do. Just make sure this next LP is you RAPPING. Oddly enough, I enjoyed your slick talk on Jeezy’s “Im Going In.” Iiight, Sherbert that’s enough chit chat for the day.
