Nelly sat down with Jayson Rodriguez from MTV News and went into detail about losing two key family members over the past 24 months. By the age of 25, all my grandparents passed away so I know that feeling. But to lose a big sister? Yeah, that’s a COMPLETELY different pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Glad to see Nelly back at it despite his family deaths.

Yes Nicki Minaj bodied her verse on Ye’s “Monster” posse cut, however calling Nicki “One Of The Greats” THIS early isn’t as acceptable as it would be with at least one LP under her belt. Don’t get me wrong, Ms. Minaj is currently BODYING everything she touches, but until we hear her on a track where there’s no one to body but the beat the “GREAT” commentary has to take a temporary backseat. Remember, the operative word in that previous sentence is “temporary.”

Jayson spoke on a series of issues including his start at the University of Deleware, receiving inspiration from Chuck Creekmour (co-founder of Allhiphop.com), being a member of the 1515 Boys (Rahman Dukes and Shaheem Reid) over at MTV, the traits to becoming a great journalist, how he was introduced to the culture of hip-hop, his first hip-hop album he ever purchased and stretching a Jay-Z interview from 20 minutes to 9o minutes.

Taylor Gang Ent. and Rostrum Records took over Toronto Sunday, Sept 26 as Wiz Khalifa’s Waken Baken tour hit the city. Accompanied by Alabama native Yelawolf, the show was not only sold out (since the first week tickets went on sale) but was the most talked about event for a month! Wiz killed it, and ILUVLOLA.NET was there for the whole show!!

If you missed Last Fridaze with ILL Banger & 2DopeBoyz, well I feel sorry for you.
