Last night Play Cloths, Karen Civil & Funkmaster Flex took over Club Ole in Elizabeth, NJ and brought a special guest out to play. I’ve been to MANY performances since landing in this blogging/writing/tastemaking or whatever ya’ll want to deem it, but I’ve never seen a reaction such as the one last night at Club Ole.
Aside from the females acting out of hand, which I understand because they haven’t had a figure to really root for in this male dominated sport in a long time, but the NIGGAZ? Good LORD, you would’ve thought Nicki was the second coming the way they were reacting to Ms. Minaj.
All in all, though it was a HECTIC night, Nicki was WELL received in The Garden State. I’m hoping someone will come up off the footage of Nicki performing “Roman’s Revenge” micless- now that was a sight to see.
