BET.Com’s Carl Chery sat with musical genius Quincy Jones recently to discuss MJ’s masterpieces- Off The Wall and Thriller. Heavily responsible for both, Jones shares his thoughts on what project, overall holds the most weight. But don’t get it twisted, Quincy is extremely proud of both compositions.
RESPECT: CChery

Better than Thriller? WTF??? Go sleep n-gga! Any of your records are even close to MJ’s. I can’t believe this n-gga said that. Go read a book MTF!!!… Before you open your mouth to talk ’bout an God, you gotta have tricks on your hand to start sayn’ it. Sorry YHTN team.. this n-gga is so disrespectful.
I actually agree with Quincy. I’m a HUGE Michael Jackson fan, but thriller is my third favorite of his albums. I think people confuse it not being a persons favorite with it being a bad album, and that’s simply not true. They were all amazing, (even Blood on the Dance Floor). @mario_luan’s anger confuses me, you are aware that quincy produced both of those albums right? he was comparing two of his works and saying which one he preferred. Go back and listen to off the wall, it’s closer to when MJs voice was in my personal favorite era (around Jackson’s Destiny album). People get caught up in how well thriller sold and equate that to being the best. I just think it’s amazing that MJ was so prolific that the world’s best selling album of ALL TIME wasn’t even his best effort.
