The concert in celebration of Young Jeezy‘s 6th year anniversary of his debut Thug Motivation 101 was held tonight at the Highline Ballroom in New York. To kick off the show, he surprised the crowd by bringing out Jay-Z. Yup, that happened, the two of them performed “Go Crazy (Remix)”. It didn’t stop there, the Snowman brought out The Throne’s Kanye West along with Loso, Bun B and L.O.X. There will be more footage to come.
Oh, and Jeezy also finished the show off with some more information on TM:103, the release date is set for September 20th.
Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd had his first show last night at Mod Club in Toronto. I heard nothing but good reviews from everyone that was able to make it. This will be the first of many, obviously, and I’m looking forward for my chance to see his live show. According to Abel’s good friend, Drake, the show was magic and he made him very proud. Thankfully a fan got a chance to get some footage of the sold out show, above he performs one of my favorite tracks off of House of Balloons, The Party & The After Party.
