With his single “Drank In My Cup” starting to make abit of noise over here in the UK I thought I best get familiar with the Warner Bro’s artist. He let loose a couple of newbies today. Nice to see some artists know Sunday’s do exist. First of tackles Drake’s “The Motto” and adds his own spin on it, that was quickly followed by a new track titled “Poppa Was A Playa”. “Progression 2″ is coming soon.

This is as CLEAR as the Watch The Throne tour is going to get until Voyr unleashes some type of recap documentary. I don’t care if you saw them perform this via other clips, THIS SHIT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I WAS THERE AGAIN! More videos under the hood.
I-Dub and Fred The Godson layed this track down about three months ago but Dub has decided to release it as an official single. AraabMuzik as per usual lays down that heat on the production. Stream below and purchase on iTunes here.

You will never see a more in depth interview than this one right here. Mannie Fresh sat down with Red Bull’s Music Academy out in Madrid to take place in their lecture series. A 2 hour interview took place, well with a career spanding for over 15 years what else do you expect? The producer spoke on everything you could ever think off, growing up in New Orleans, the music scene in New Orleans, DJ’ing, how he got into music, how he hooked up with Gregory D, when he was approached by Cash Money and the music he created with the artists of Cash Money over the years, his failed Def Jam deal & so much more. I could be here all day. If your a fan of Mannie then this interview is bound to give you information you didn’t know. Great interview to say the least.

As usual it’s a slow Sunday, I was browsing a few pages and came across this. British producer Star Slinger remixes ASAP’s single “Peso”. Vocals get a little bit annoying but other than that it’s pretty funky.

“This is a song written & performed from the perspective of the young rebels of today that question all authority & live for the rebellious moments of their lives. the rebels that remain stuck in time, holding onto the pleasures of money, sex & drugs. the rebels who are afraid of what the future beholds because there is no tomorrow, there’s just today and yesterday. but as malcolm said it best, “the future belongs to those who prepare for it today.” and without plans you’re left with hope, but without hope your’e running from tomorrow.”
