I love videos like this, when you get to sit back and watch how an artist creates a record. All artists have different routines when it comes to creating their music, watch Freddie’s above as we take a peep behind the closed doors of Spin Recording Studios. “Anything To Survive” appeared on “Cold Day In Hell” which is available now.

I love songs which you can relate too, every god damn word. That’s what the Miami dude Frantik has got with this one, I like this one, alot. It just puts you in your zone ya know?

Remember Freddie Gibbs’ “Str8 Killa No Filla” mixtape? I guess you do. Well, Indiana native V.P. appeared on that and he just slid over this new one for us to fuck with. This serves as the first single from his “I Am Not A Role Model” project due out next year. Cool record if I say so myself. They talking about me everywhere I go!

Wale throws the “Bait” out there for The Daily Habit on Fuel TV. Ambition is in stores now.
Funkmaster Flex took to Webster Hall Wednesday night and brought along some of his friends, Meek Mill, Jim Jones & Jadakiss to perform a couple of their popular tunes.
Waka, French & producer Southside locked it in at the Hot Beats Studio in Atlanta to work on the duo’s forthcoming collaborative “The Lockout” mixtape which we still await a release date for, the tape will be hosted by DJ Drama & DJ Green Lantern. Southside starts off by previewing a few beats, which absolutely bump by the way. Then after the duo have decided which beats they want, they go in and record their parts. Sounds like the tape going to be a street keeper. That beat that comes on at the 1:46 mark sounds so dope.
Sacramento native C Plus gave us two nice as fuck joints in the build up for this so this will be peeped abit later, when I’m sober. The tape serves as a little warm up for his forthcoming album “L.O.C.A.L.” which is penned for a February release date. Hit the jump for download & tracklisting.
DJ Semtex premiered this new remix of Sway’s track “Still Speedin’ with Lupe Fiaso. Ripped audio for now.
