In homage to two of the most legendary hip hop producers, The Soulstice piece together their freshman mixtape featuring classic production from solely MF Doom & 9th Wonder. The mixtape will be arriving on the evening of the first day of the new year. We’ve also put together a promotional video with sneak peaks to 4 songs off of the mixtape.

The Soulstice consists of 4 talented artists; Alex Kidd, Lafayette, Rob Yung, and Ross Munroe. All 4 members hail from different States but are all currently residing in Florida. With their unimaginable passion for music, this talented group can do all the work on their own. From the process of songwriting and composing to the recording and mixing! With the year of 2011 coming to an end you can expect to see many things coming from these young and talented individuals.

To celebrate the release of his highly anticipated new album, The Dreamer / The Believer, Common took the stage to a sold out crowd at Highline Ballroom in NYC. Backed by a live band, Com performed many new cuts as well as some of his classics. One of the shows highlights was a surprise appearance by Nas to perform NY State of Mind and Ghetto Dreams. For fans who could not attend in person, Spotify and Livestream webcasted the concert, and we have the mastered soundboard audio rip below.
