Last night during the newest episode of Empire Girls, Adrienne Bailon took to Club Rush in Miami for the after party of The Latin Billboard Awards to perform her new single “Don’t Give Up On Us.” I wasn’t sure if the song was out or not so I went on a small hunt and got my paws on the track. I was a huge fan of 3LW back in the day (when Adrienne’s now bff was Kiely’s right hand). Unfortunately though I can’t see Adrienne doing much in the industry today. I think she was put into those groups 3LW & The Cheetah Girls for a reason.
Some people aren’t meant to be soloist she did her part in 3LW, as did Kiely, Naturi, and even Jessica. They all played their parts. Adrienne just isn’t interesting by her self. If she were I believe she would’ve had her own reality show without Julissa.
Anything she does “alone” doesn’t do well per-say. I love the girl to death, but geeze. Just not that interesting ‘A-Slo’ (old fans should remember that nickname haha. (rant over)
I’ve been a huge fan of Adrienne since I was 5 and she was in 3LW. I think finally she’s getting her chance to be a solo artist. its not like her voice is one that needs other singers to make it sound good, she has an amazing voice and I can’t wait til she’s ready with the album. Once a fan always a fan and I think once she’s done finding her own voice and sound in this industry she’s gonna kill it ! and she’s gonna make it happen(:
