Last Thursday at Tammany Hall the Scholarich Foundation along with The Source Magazine held a book drive fundraiser concert headlined by MMG’s own Stalley. Over 300 books were collected at the night of the event, all books will be donated to Friends of The Island Academy.

The event offered great opening acts that lead all the way up to Stalley. Some of the standout openers that killed it on stage were KidNamedBreezy from D.C., Harlem representative Dub who performed his songs ‘All I Know’ and ‘Fate’ which had the crowd captivated, No Rap Money, Joe Money, Mel Carter and Maffew Ragazino all doing what they do best. Scholarich Music Group which consist of Chewy Garcia, Von Rich, Money Meech and SongBird were the only acts with a live band during thier performance. The event was hosted by Lowkey from UHTN and the music was provided by Power 105’s DJ Self.

The main act of the night Stalley hit the stage around 12AM coming out to the sounds of his Savage Journey To The American Dream. The Ohio native performed his Currency assisted song ‘Hammers & Vogues’ and then went on to perform ‘BCGMMG’ ‘Party Heart.’ Stalley even took us back to his Lincoln Way Nights mixtape performing his hit ‘Slapp.’ The night was capped off with Stalley performing his song ‘MMG The World Is Yours.’ A great event with a great cause behind it. Shouts to Scholarich.
