Analog synthesizer innovators Moog are unveiling a new handcrafted synth today, the Sub Phatty– which “grinds and screams with a uniquely aggressive voice,” according to a release. A few months back, Flying Lotus received a prototype Sub Phatty, which he used as the primary instrument on “Such a Square”, an original composition for a new animated film by Adam “lilfuchs” Fuchs, Moog Sub Phatty: New Machine for Living. Fuchs previously directed the video for Flying Lotus’ “Zodiac Shit”, from 2010′s Cosmogramma.
