HOUSTON (May 22, 2014) – The 4th Annual Houston Beer Fest, this year presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon, will take over Sam Houston Park and the surrounding area June 7th and 8th for an experience unlike any other. The festival has doubled in size, and expectations are high in all aspects. With a change in venue and an additional day, Houston Beer Fest has also added a fourth stage. Musical acts this year include 3OH!3, Juicy J and Slightly Stoopid playing
on Saturday, with Rick Ross and Alien Ant Farm finishing up on Sunday. The performer list covers many genres and includes both big names and local favorites.
The biggest change for previous attendees: tickets for beer. Instead of the standard, one for a sample and four tickets for a whole beer, one-ounce samples will be free and one ticket will get one whole beer. Additionally, the beer selection has grown. More than 100 different breweries will bring an average of four beers each for attendees to enjoy.
“This year we’ve done a lot to enhance our festival in all areas,” says Timothy Hudson, the organizer of Houston Beer Fest. “Our goal is for attendees to leave with an amazing and memorable experience.”
