Last week I dropped off a dope record from Virginia lyricist Chance Fischer titled “Staccato” which you can peep here. Today I get the honor of premiering his new single “Colossus” a very intense high energy record that he fucking blacks out on, no bullshit. Listen to the lyrics closely and you will find an even deeper message that exposes the world we live in from the media to police brutality and the non-existent sense of humanity.

If the bars aren’t crazy enough Chance Fischer taps fellow Virginia native and soul singer Erikka J who changes the whole dynamic of the record as she belts out “Lasciatemi Morirer”, during the chorus, and it translates to “Let Me Die” and can originally be found in Claudio Monteverdi’s “Lamento d’Arianna”. Thats the dope thing about Chance Fischer he gets his point across with force, he commands attention when he is on the mic. I may be going out on a limb here but he kind of sort of reminds me of a young Kanye West.

Enjoy his single above and be sure to keep your eye on this young emcee.
