MopTop, a ​New England native who relocated to​ Chicago then​ New York City a few years ago, continues to break down genre-specific barriers as both a DJ and music producer. His eclectic style of mixing and production has captured the attentions of publications such as NY Magazine, The Chicago Reader, URB Magazine (Next 100), and more.

​Today, he delivers a new single, “The Moon,” featuring ​Tel​l​i from Ninjasonik,​ G.R.A.M.Z. and ​singer, Mairys Joaquin.

The release comes at the close of a Summer that presented numerous opportunities for MopTop. In these past few months, MopTop has performed in Chicago, Boston, Philly and New York city – opening up for acts such as Talib Kweli, Zara Larsen, and Jason Derule.
