Justin “JDope” Anderson-Copes is a 23-year-old artist born and raised in Camden New Jersey. Throughout high school JDope excelled in multiple sports, where he was one of the of top prospects in the South Jersey area.

JDope went on to attend Delaware State University, a Division I football institution, but struggled to survive due to lack of funds and resources. He eventually left school to pursue a career in music and became a member of local Hip-hop group, BlakGang. After several years within the group, JDope is now pursuing a solo career.

Within recent months, JDope has caught the eyes of many from his debut single “Scroll,” produced by buzzing South Jersey producer Kenif Muse. He then followed up with his SubZero Beats-produced single, “Wrestlin.” After his 3rd single of 2017 “Straight Up” JDope has catapulted his self in a new light and is now seen as South Jersey’s next R&B/HipHop sensation. JDope manages to cook up melodic music for women that expertly captures the emotional rollercoaster love seems to take everyone on, while still giving us gritty tracks that show his darker poverty stricken reality.
