It seems like forever ago that Peedie Crakk was next to come up outta State Property. One For Peedi was a hood classic, he killed Freeway on his own shit (Flipside), and was being set up for alley oops by Jay-Z on R&B features (Ne-Yo Stay).
The typical industry album delays caused problems between Peedi and Def Jam. As usual, the blame got thrown on Jay and the subsequent “diss” tracks followed. From there it all went downhill with Peedi still throwing shots on the never to be released Camel Face Hunting Season and Peedi actually becoming State Property, doing a bullet (year) for a parole violation.
With all that behind him Peedi returns to drop his latest mixtape, Crakk Files Vol. 4. The mixtape showcases Peedi at his best, with his rapidfire delivery going in over new and throwback instrumentals. He also features new original material and appearances from NORE, CyHi The Prynce, Omillio Sparks and more. DJ Aktive expertly handles the mixing duties. Best of all, he leaves the beef in the past and focuses on the bars.
