It brings me JOY watching mini-documentaries like this. Though Kanye’s Late Registration is my least favorite LP from him, the instrumentation on this project is fucking INCREDIBLE. And to be honest? Watching this again is making me re-think my order of Kanye’s favorite albums. Correction, 808′s & Heartbreaks is my least favorite. Man, just watching this is fucking beautiful. Sit back and take notes. Part two (which at the start might be a tear jerker) and three under the hood. Oh, I also included Ye preparing for the Late Registration Orchestra concert/album he did. Good night! Read More
The stage has been set, Young Jeezy’s Thug Motivation 103: A Husterlz Ambition drops tomorrow. And when you cop the super deluxe version of it? This documentary comes along with it. IT’S THAT 103, NIGGA!
This is one of my favorite scenes from Jay’s “Fade To Black” documentary from several years back. Mainly because during this time I was still in the mind frame of making beats (I used Reason and Fruity Loops). Hearing Pharrell explain his thought process behind getting this beat on the project and the emotion he was looking to evoke is priceless to me. I’m DYING to know what words were exchanged between Jay and Pharrell at the 2:25 mark.

Curtis Jackson recently embarked on a trip along with VH1 for their latest Rock Doc entitled “50 Cent: The Origin Of Me.” He talks about his past with his Grandmother, then ventures down to Edgefield, S.C., for the first time since he was six, to find out more about where he comes from. Damn, the truth is ugly sometimes.
This mini documentary is a bonus gift that came with the purchase of Cudi’s Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager.

So now you know. And everyone you know must know what you know. Most days being a whistle blower for peace is about educating your community person by person. But every special now and again there are other days. Bigger days. More important days. When the single sound of your voice matches the sounds of other voices and together we create a crescendo so loud, so deafening, that the halls of power reverberate with our sound.
