By NOW, you’ve all heard the commotion that was #TheGreatestDayEver held at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, New York! 5 parties in one, Suave Haus, Brunch Bounce, Henny Palooza, World Famous & Apt. 78 brought their respective audiences together for one big day of fun fuckery! The event saw DJ sets from Pete Rock, Nick Catchdubs, DJ Benzi, Irv, Jose, Austin Millz, Brennmar, Roxy Cottontail, and DJ Schoolboy. I feel like me trying to recap the event won’t allow it to live up to the hype hovering over it. These recap vids will do just the trick! HUGE shouts to my guys Irv and Jose for allowing me to be apart of something so legendary!
Early last month several of my cohorts and I were invited down to Bermuda for the 2014 edition of Gemini Dream Weekend! The All-inclusive weekend featured day, night, beach and boat parties with liquor sponsorships from Rum Punch, Dark & Stormy’s. Friday kicked off with a welcome party at Pier 6 in downtown Bermuda. Deemed Fantastic Friday, the DJs kept things on tilt as we sipped on different variations of island rum and partied hard with some friendly locals.
Saturday was dedicated to the All Day Beach party sponsored by Brugal Rum. A BBQ buffet kept our stomach padded as the DJ kept things very sexy while we chilled on the beach reflecting on life. Later that night we enjoyed an indoor/outdoor private pool party at a GORGEOUS estate in the hills. The party was all-white, but I left my Diddy/Hamptons threads in the states lol.
Sunday concluded with Fantasea, a 3 boat yacht party (all connected by the way) that was sponsored by Four Loko (I had NOOOOOOOOO idea it was still legal to distribute that shit). Things started off rocky as we sailed DIRECTLY into a rain storm, in which I truly thought this could be the end seeing how the Bermuda Triangle was actually a thing I was scared of growing up. Mother Nature remained on her best behavior as light showers hit us throughout the day. Once we docked at our destination, our boats were tied together and the fun commenced. I even was asked to host part of the party, as you can see lol.
Seeing how this was my FIRST time in Bermuda, I can honestly say it was a memorable one. In addition, the good folks of Gemini Dream Weekend are HARD at work for next year as they’ve ALREADY announced the dates for 2015! Join us next year from June 12-15 as we turn Bermuda upside down once again! Check out geminidreamweekend.com and follow GDWBda on IG, Twitter and Facebook for updates!
