Welp, looks like Papa Hov won’t be dropping a Summer anthem anytime soon. Mr. Carter spoke with MTV News yesterday after his Budweiser Made In America Music Festival press conference where he calmly revealed the new music he’s been creating has now taken a back seat due to that beautiful babygirl Beyonce and him birthed. And there’s not a DAMN thing wrong with that. I’d probably move the same exact way.

If you’re not familiar with the “Niggas In Paris” beatsmith, Hit Boy then just crawl back under the rock from which you came lol.
The Cali native spoke with Billboard.com recently about the success to “Niggas In Paris” his musical influences, future projects and production company as well as re-starting his rap career with his new single “Jay-Z Interview ” which drops next month. Check out an excerpt from the interview below where he talks about wanting to have an unidentifiable sound like Scott Storch.
One producer I’ve looked up to is Scott Storch. At his peak, he was doing Beyoncé’s incredible ballad, “Me, Myself and I,” and then he went to Fat Joe’s “Lean Back,” one of the biggest club songs ever. Nobody could identify his sound, and that’s what I want. I can go from Kelly’s “Lay It on Me” to Pusha T’s “My God” and then do a “Paris.” People might still try to put me in a box, thinking I’m only a track producer, but not knowing I can make an R&B ballad right now and play the keys myself.
