Fab and Teyana stopped by SOBs yesterday for the signing of The Ewing “Aloysius” 33 High Sneaker Launch. The two NYC natives autographed kicks and CDs as HOT 97’s, DJ Juanyto played the 1s and 2s throughout the nights festivities.

The massive day time party kicked off with live performances by Rae Sremmurd, Mike Will Made it, Mannie Fresh, Salva, Goldlink, Brenmar, Two-9, Ishdarr, Son Real and Earthgang. Hosted by Nas, the night party escalated to another level with performances by Boldy James, Dave East, Fashawn, Joey Bada$$, Kevin Gates, PRhyme, Father, Post Malone, Kehlani and Mick Jenkins.
We also spotted other artists in attendance for support: Young Guru, Dej Loaf, Little Simz, Tiffany Gouche, Deniro Farrar, Post Malone, Ian Connor, Starlito and more.

The Street Execs x BeerandTacos Showcase at SXSW was the move to make. This show was no doubt one of the most talked about events of SXSW this year. 2 Chainz performed his hits while introducing SXSW to his roster of talent at his new label TRU Records that includes: Cap 1, Fresh (Short Dawg) and Skooly. The highlight of the evening was proceeded by Legendary Hip Hop DJ Funkmaster Flex who took the packed house on a musical genre bending journey before the moment everyone was waiting on, The Dipset Reunion. Cam’ron, Juelz, Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey came out and went through there collective and solo hits effortlessly and the packed house enjoyed every moment. Additional performers included: Bankroll Fresh, Khaotic, Travis Porter, Trae the Truth, Khaotic, K Camp, Runway Richy, Kayoo, Money Makin Nique and OT Genasis. The Street Execs x BeerandTacos Showcase at SXSW was hosted by Fort Knox and Wiz Kid. The 2015 edition took place at the Austin City Limits Live in the heart of Austin.
Serving as the 2015 SXSW Ambassador, Trae Tha Truth is making his rounds showing support to all those are in attendance in the Lone Star State. So far, Trae’s caught up with 2 Chainz, Sway and His Morning Show, Ghostface Killah, Miley Cyrus, Chance The Rapper, Dej Loaf, Raekwon, Mike Will Made It, G-Eazy, Casey Veggies, Wyclef Jean and many more. Kendrick Lamar made waves last week when he announced that he will be dropping a new album this month, March 23rd to be specific. Today Kendrick announced the titled of his forthcoming project To Pimp A Butterfly and to commemorate the announcement Kendrick graces the new cover of Rolling Stone.

Ludacris took over ATL’s Means Street Studios to give a select few in the industry an early preview to his forthcoming project Ludaversal which drops March 31st. Guests include DJ Drama, DJ Trauma, Big K.R.I.T., rap group Two Nine, producer Drumma Boy.
Last night Wale took to Seinfeld’s TOM’s Diner for the listening session to the March 31st release of The Album About Nothing. Guests were treated to wings, burgers, chicken wraps and Belaire Rose while Wale introduced tracks from his upcoming release. While I got there late and only caught the tail end of the project, “The Matrimony” featuring Usher did it for me. Not sure if he’ll make the cut a single but if it does make it to the radio? Over! Guests include DJ Drama, Rick Ross, Miss Info, Todd Moscowitz, Geespin, Peter Rosenberg, Ebro and many others! The Album About Nothing drops March 31st.
