So I ventured down to Miami this weekend for the 1st Annual MMG Weekend. The weekend was pretty much a media appreciation situation where they showed a handful of DJs from across the country a great time for all the endless support through the past couple years. The weekend started over at Ross’ studio house where Ross, Meek Mill, Stalley and Rockie Fresh played current and new cuts from their respective projects. As the night was winding down, I caught up with Meek Mill for an impromptu interview in front of EVERYONE. And when I say he addresses pretty much EVERYTHING? He does just that.
Saturday started off with a brunch with Stalley at the Mondrian, where we were staying. Shortly after, we were whisked to ANOTHER one of Ross’ estates for an all-day pool party which QUICKLY turned into a music video reminiscent of “Pop That” and “Tip Drill.” Honestly? These photos do NOT serve you the FILTH that I witnessed as the evening progressed. You know what? I won’t even elaborate on it, if you weren’t there just make sure you’re there next year. I missed out on the club that night because I was pretty much drained from the pool party earlier in the day.
Sunday, the finale started off with folks doing their own thing at the pool as everyone recovered from the night before. Later in the day, Rockie Fresh and Stalley performed at Jack Da Ripper’s Dunk Xchange convention. Casey Veggies came out for a surprise performance during Rockie’s set. The evening concluded at Prime 112 for a Ciroc Dinner which included a taste testing of Ciroc’s new Armaretto flavor. After we stuffed our faces LIV was the FINAL destination for the night as Ross, Meek, Stalley and Rockie Fresh hopped on the mic to perform some joints of Self Made Vol.3. Our section was upstairs so we got a clear view of the filth going on throughout the venue. Lil Wayne was in attendance as he ditty bopped to the sounds of DJ Stevie J.
Big shouts to Jason, Ashely, Rahim, Punch, Tashana, Marylin and everyone from the MMG, Atlantic Records and Ciroc Family.

Cassie took to WIP nightclub in NYC last night to celebrate her birthday with fancy friends DJ Whoo Kid, Rocsi, Trina, Teyana Taylor and others. Don’t ask me how old she is because I have the slightest clue but good GAWD shorty is looking serious in that white get up!
