Didn’t I tell you Kid Fury would be back around these parts? This time Mr. Fury distributes his thoughts on the following: Four Loko, understanding what you when you have a fast food craving, Bishop Eddie Long, “Specific”, Keri Hilson’s new single “Breaking Point”, society’s addiction to Astrology, women in high heel shoes, the wonderful concept behind missing someone, and standing up for yourself the correct way. Gotta love this kid.

This entire situation really doesn’t make any sense. It all stemmed from last night’s leak of the feature-heavy “So Appalled” where Hov rapped the lines, “Hammer went broke, so you know I’m more focused / I lost 30 mill, so I spent another 30 / ’cause unlike Hammer, 30 mill can’t hurt me.” It seemed like the truth got to Hammer quite quickly because he went to Twitter to respond to the line by calling Jay-Z #HellBoy (how original) and that the answer to Jay will arrive on Oct. 31. What a shameless plug.
If timing couldn’t have been any more appropriate, AllHipHop just put up a new interview with MC Hammer (which we’re sure was recorded a while back) where he talks about respecting Jay-Z and his whole “Death of Auto-Tune” movement. We’ll just go ahead and issue you your L and forget that this even happened by tomorrow. The truth hurts doesn’t it, Stanley?

My new favorite vlogger Kid Fury locks in to give us his TRUE thoughts on the 2010 VMA’s. From Nicki Minaj’s pre-show performance to Florence & The Machine being deemed as the best performance of the night because of their originality to Taylor Swift milking the victim role to Ciara milking her “matrix” move to Kanye closing out the show flawlessly, Kid Fury holds no punches this go around. Expect to see more of Kid Fury around these parts.
The Furious Awards coming soon!

Ne-Yo stopped by Chelsea Lately to talk about becoming a father and of course Ms. Handler had to stir things up a bit with her commentary. Beef with Usher? Of course it would be on Twitter lol.

I would give ANYTHING to have Chelsea Handler mentor me. Anyway, with the VMA’s coming up in about two weeks, it’s only right Ms. Handler soundoff on the nominees, presenters and performers.
In the clip above, Chelsea chats with MTV’s Jim Cantiello to discuss this years, as she puts it, “hippty-hop” nominees. Of course the conversation veers into a sexual lane where Chelsea details her inner most sexual desires involving Swizz Beatz. Don’t worry Alicia, Chelsea comes in peace lol. And after the jump, Chelsea has some choice words for Justin Bieber as well. Read More
A couple weeks ago I ventured over to Blockheads in Midtown Manhattan for a couple Margaritas with the homeys @KlepOne & @Bombshell_mel. Shortly after, a couple other hip-hop connoisseurs joined in on the fun. After a couple alcoholic beverages were consumed, the topic of hip-hop landed on the table. Sighs.
It’s obvious everyone at that table had a different view of what hip-hop actually is, so a heated debated ensued. Did the south dumb it down? Are Soulja Boy and Lil B consider candidates for making timeless music? Is Nicki Minaj really THAT good? Is it wrong to dance to Waka Flocka Flame?? Is radio to blame? Yep, we covered it all (well most of it).
Yes, I’m slightly under the influence, but I feel like that’s when I’m at my best. And YES, I talk with my hands a lot. Sorry lol. However, @Bombshell_mel and @GlennyKravitz stole the show. Blame @eb_the_celeb for bringing out the camera and putting a battery in EVERYONES back.

Says ItsTheReal,
Today we’re debuting a new part of the ItsTheReal family: Hype Men, a hip-hop comedy podcast presented by @ItsTheReal and @JensenClan88!
Hypemen.tumblr.com
Hype Men is like a tree house built of metaphors and Jay-Z lyrics; it’s a talk amongst friends that’ll branch out into Best Week Ever territory; a place to start off discussing Cam’ron’s oeuvre and end up talking about Sesame Street’s The Count, with the two topics somehow tying together in a very seven degrees of Kevin Bacon game-type way.
This week’s guest is Blacksmith rapper and twitter killer Jean Grae. We discuss BBQing with Lil’ Mama + run-ins with Tyrese + Slo ‘Down vs. Nelly + Talib Kweli’s collaboration with Gucci Mane + Michael J. Fox’s bucket list + more!
