The homey BillyJ’s been in my ear about this kid named JFK. I finally sat my hyper ass down over the weekend and took a listen to ol boy’s product. I’m not even mad. Here’s one of my favorite joints from his already released EP The Homie which can be downloaded over here.

Not sure who this kid is but I’m digging the vibe. Young fella by the name of Vic Mensa from Chicago I believe? Anywho, I appreciate the swift dedication to Mars Blackmon too. Only advice to Vic is to loosen up a little bit, he seem’s a bit uptight. But that’s just what I think.

Meet Erin Christine. This piano savy/power voiced vixen is arriving on the scene of R&B as a rising prospect whose talents have already caught the attention of John Legend and HOT 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg. Star Studded Sounds- which is spearheaded by Tiffany Star (MTV Making the Band/ Universal Publishing)- is the driving force behind Team Christine and intends to make the multi-talented singer a household name.
“Say”, which is available for download below, was written by Tiffany Star and produced by Erin (she played the keys) and Malay (John Legend’s “Green Light”). Her debut EP Something Better is slated for a release in the coming months and will be executive produced by music producer, Omen (Omen co-produced Drake’s “Shut It Down” and Wayne’s “Single”). The visual for “Say” is set to be directed by TV personality Quddus (MTV/Access Hollywood).
Thoughts on Erin Christine?

I just walked in from dinner with Mama and Poppa LowKey, checked my email and saw this. Ground Up is an unsigned group out of Philly with a new mixtape hitting the streets on November 16. I’m digging the first song “Highlights” but not so much the second. Either way, I’ll be requesting more material from these young lads. Be on the look out! Oh and if you’re looking for more info on them, check their website HERE!
Heard of Jon Connor? Of course you haven’t, but from what I understand the Flint, MI emcee is in the development matrix and has a bright future looming on the horizon.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Last week Chris Classic unveiled his “Anytime” directed visual at the Jump Boutique in downtown Manhattan. Needless to say, the turnout was extremely dope. The clip was directed by newcomer JasFly who did an EXCELLENT job at getting the video executed.
Oh, and if you’re a fan of the Mr. Classic make sure you download his new mixtape which dropped earlier today.
