RU caught producer Rodney Jerkins on the red carpet of the BMI Awards last night in Atlanta who shared some advice he recently gave Ciara. The former VP of A&R at IDJ explained that Ciara had a lane specifically crafted for her and that she sort of strayed away from it creatively. Jerkins also said that by sticking to her original roots of the dirty 808 ambiance things could pick back up for the Atlanta native.
