This is definitely something for all of the true hip-hop fans…I am such a fan of J Dilla and Madlib, their music has really played a huge part in my music as far as inspiration so this music video is to merely show my appreciation for such a talented producer. Due to various reasons like mixing, features, etc. and my passion to properly deliver a quality body of work CranGrape & More White Girls will no longer be released on 12/27/11…Instead it will be released on 1/17/12 along with an exclusive documentary that will show a more introspective look on my life. The idea for “Numb” sparked from a conversation I had about relationships with a good friend and all of the built-up memories of the bitterness, betrayal, and turmoil helped me to understand why I’m the way I am to this day. ”Numb” isn’t particularly about ONE girl, and no…It’s NOT about “you”, it’s more-so explaining different situations i’ve been involved in over the past year. ”Numb” is not only MY soundtrack but it’s HER soundtrack, HIS soundtrack, EVERYONE’S soundtrack and I know this song doesn’t necessarily entail a “pop” or “commercial” approach to it sonically, I still ask that you all take the time out to close your eyes and open your hearts and minds to listen to my creativity, my emotions, and my honesty.
