Oh shoot! Cassidy finally made a good song with G.O.O.D. Music’s very own John Legend on the hook. Sorry, the punchline rapper Cass just doesn’t move me anymore. This one’s possibly off Cass’ upcoming album. Shouts to Perajok.

At the Monster Cable awards show in Las Vegas in Jan 2010 during CES everyone (well, most everyone) entered eager to watch John Legend perform. It was cool. I had my friends 7D with me and a fairly good seat. Thanks VIP section. I’m all set to leave and go meet Blake and Steve (of vimeo) actually, when I hear a lady behind me say, “Oh my gosh he’s gonna announce stevie wonder” I turn around to find the Monster CEO trading back and forth between Legend on who could announce this mystery guest, to which Legend takes the reins and spills that yes, Stevie himself is there. They do a duet of Ordinary People. It was really good.
The last minuteness and sheer shock of the whole moment explains the camera imperfections. That and the fact that I filled the memory card before the song ends. Oops. I tried to delete enough to film an effective amount before Stevie said peace out eagle scout… to no avail.
And yes that guy on the segway with spinners toward the beginning looks like Kim Jong Il. No its not him. It was the Monster cable CEO.
Cudi and John Legend hit the W Hotel in Miami, FL for a New Year’s Eve performance of his David Guetta collabo.
