Ne-Yo is gearing up to release not only a new mixtape titled 1O1 hosted by Kevin Hart but also his fifth studio album The Cracks In Mr. Perfect. Judging by the commentary, I’m going to assume this cut will live on the latter. I couldn’t tell you if this is the lead off look for the project, but I wouldn’t suggest so. Seems like Mr. Smith is getting back to his roots on this LP. We shall see.

Sunday night, Fabolous took his talents down to LIV nightclub to celebrate his born day with Ne-Yo, Kevin Hart, Mack Maine, Lil Wayne, Stevie J and DJ Clue. Ahhhh how I miss LIV, even though I’ve only been there one time lol. STILL! Shit’s like a huge adult playground!

The UK club scene is dominated by Flo Rida. Hence the reason why I don’t fuck with the clubs as much as I used too, well that and certain people in this god damn town. I mean Flo Rida is cool but is there any need for the same song 5 times? Nah, b. Crazy thing is is that these cats here love it. I guess there glued to the radio & TV too much. Anyway, with that said you already know what too expect from this new one with Ne-Yo. Flo Rida is currently putting in work for his album “Only One Rida (Part 2)”, I will take a long shot that this will live on it. Tagged for now.
LL promised us new music and being a man to his word here goes a new single from him. Rico Love & Jim Jonsin team up and create a very friendly beat. Ne-Yo is recruited and adds a nice touch to the single. Always nice to hear some new music from Cool James. This will premiere on his show NCIS: Los Angeles tomorrow along with being released onto iTunes. Stream below.

Healthy and wealthy was the motto for last night’s Ambition celebration at the Highline Ballroom. Wale put on a great show for the release of his sophomore LP which included appearances from a healthy looking Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Stalley, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo and French Montana (yeah, we saw you in that huddle playboy). The event was presented by HOT 97 and MySpace with hosting duties handled by Funkmaster Flex and Miss Info. Ambition is in stores now.

That Grape Juice caught up with Ne-Yo during the Michael Jackson Forever in the UK this past weekend and spoke on performing during at the tribute, meeting the legend for the first time in NYC and the title of his 5th solo LP which is slated to be released at the top of the year.
