For his newest single, Meek snags Nicki, Fab, and French Montana for something that peaks my interest more than most of the material he’s dropped recently. While we wait for Dreamchasers 3, stream “I Be On It” below.

Video: Big Sean Brings Out Drake & Nicki Minaj In Detroit

September 1, 2013 |  by  |  LIVE PERFORMANCES  |  No Comments

Man, let me tell you first hand that Big Sean shut things down last night in Detroit. The open-air DTE Music Energy Theatre was packed for the hometown MC and weed smoke was billowing from everywhere. About an hour and a half into his set, “All Me” started to play. Drake’s mic wasn’t working, but Sean was smooth enough to play it off and said “That’s not what they want to hear.” That only pumped that much more life into the crowd. A few minutes later the Key Wane-produced track came back on and someone entered from the left side of the stage. There wasn’t an ounce of me expecting Drake to show up, but sure enough it was the man himself. Drizzy performed “All Me” with Sean, “Versace,” hit an a capella version of his “Now New Friends” verse, and completely shut things down with “Started From The Bottom.” Then to add to the spectacle, Nicki Minaj (I don’t care if that ass is real or not.) joined the Detroit rep on stage for “Ass” and the first live performance of “M.I.L.F” off his recently released Hall of Fame LP.

Swizz Beatz ft. Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, & Lil Wayne – Hands Up

August 23, 2013 |  by  |  MUSIC  |  No Comments

This is a pretty nice offering as most of us finish off our regular work week and look forward to whatever festivities may lie ahead. Swizz rounds up the usual suspects for his new collaborative joint called “Hands Up.” I could’ve done without hearing Rick Ross, but Swizz gives us a dope track overall.

Video: Chris Brown ft. Nicki Minaj – Love More

Everything is good when we hear from Chris Breezy and it has nothing to do with the media overhyping some small details of his life. Brown makes dope music and he’s also been the lead in some top-notch music videos. After knocking the “Fina China” visuals out of the park, Breezy is back and he takes another one yard as Nicki Minaj assists him in the treatment for “Love More.” coming later this year.

Although it’s a lane dominated by Khaled, there’s plenty of room for DJ’s to make these monster collaboration tracks. Clue kicks things off by linking Future, Nicki, French, and Juelz for “Rich Friday.” This is definitely a payday anthem. Head below to take a listen. Radio rip for now.

Update: CDQ. Available now on iTunes.

DJ Khaled ft. Nicki Minaj, Future, & Rick Ross – I Wanna Be With You (Prod. By Lee On The Beats)

July 29, 2013 |  by  |  MUSIC  |  1 Comment

We saw Khaled roll out some not-so-clever promo for this single last week and as we await his next compilation album, he hits us with “I Wanna Be With You.” Nicki snaps as her verse paves the way, Future knocks out the hook (as usual), and Rozay talks that boss shit. Do you think Khaled’s latest single from Suffering From Success lives up to the hype?
