We kind of saw this coming from the collaboration on Rozay’s recently released Rich Forever tape back in January. And with God Forgives, I Don’t still being cooked up in the kitchen, I don’t doubt “special” this record their working will be.

Though Fab;s Loso’s Way 2 is nowhere near completed, the Street Fam ring leader gave us a tiny inside perspective on his game plan for the forthcoming album which is scheduled for a late Spring/early Summer release. Though he’s not for certain what producers are making the cut, he HAS spent time some time with Hit Boy, No I.D., Pharrell and a couple new cats. Some of which can probably be heard on his There Is No Competition 3 mixtape that dropped Christmas Day. I can assure you he probably got a couple scorchers with Lil Lody and Jahlil Beats.

Still not a fan of this record. And if anything, it should be Pharrell ft. T.I. This is set to live on Clifford’s Trouble Man LP dropping in February.
Here go a few BTS flicks from TIP’s recent single “Hear Ye, Hear Ye” with Skateboard P. One more after the jump.

Skateboard P signs 18 year old Compton native to his I Am Other label. He goes by Buddy. Today he premiered his new video and track entitled Awesome, Awesome. Produced by the Neptunes, if you couldn’t already tell. Pharrell got a hold of this cat through the grape vine. Entourage music supervisor Scott Verner aka @brokemogul brought a video into the studio to show P a couple years ago and instantly thought that he has the potential to being one of those super special artists.

This is one of my favorite scenes from Jay’s “Fade To Black” documentary from several years back. Mainly because during this time I was still in the mind frame of making beats (I used Reason and Fruity Loops). Hearing Pharrell explain his thought process behind getting this beat on the project and the emotion he was looking to evoke is priceless to me. I’m DYING to know what words were exchanged between Jay and Pharrell at the 2:25 mark.
