This is pretty fucking awesome. During a Roots show at Tufts University in Boston, M.A., Karmin hit the stage backed by The Roots to perform their popular “Look At Me Now” cover. So dope, I swear! According to the group, Questlove invited the duo to the show but they had no idea they would be performing. Again, so dope.

I was watching the Stephen Colbert Report earlier this week and saw the challenge Jimmy Fallon had issued Mr. Colbert if enough money was raised ($86,000 was donated) for DonorsChoose.Org which is a organization that helps classrooms in need of school supplies. Welp, the mark was hit and Mr. Colbert kept his end of the bargin and showed his ASS this past Friday on Jimmy’s show. FUCKING CLASSIC!

Manifesto is five days of incredible events across the city of Toronto culminating a massive free outdoor concert in the heart of Downtown Toronto. The festival brings hundreds of artists and performers, including thousands of attendees. Jay Electronica and Black Thought from The Roots were this year’s big headliners. Above is some footage of Q-Tip & The Roots performing “Microphone Fiend” at the Hennessy Artistry stop in Miami, FL. Last night was just DOPE! They killed it! They also brought out special guests Eve, Bobby Brown, & Dan Merriweather. It was also said there there was a few celebs in the crowd which the only ones I actually peeped were De La Soul
Anywhom, this type of event needs to come back more often, the event space was insane & an open hennessy bar?! psshhh, cant beat it!!
