Sheek Louch took to New Haven, CT to not only celebrate his born day, but toast to his new recording home Def Jam Records. Let’s hope the party continues as he embarks on a new musical journey with rap’s strongest label in the streets.

Says Ashley Outrageous,
Above is some footage of Q-Tip & The Roots performing “Microphone Fiend” at the Hennessy Artistry stop in Miami, FL. Last night was just DOPE! They killed it! They also brought out special guests Eve, Bobby Brown, & Dan Merriweather. It was also said there there was a few celebs in the crowd which the only ones I actually peeped were De La Soul
Anywhom, this type of event needs to come back more often, the event space was insane & an open hennessy bar?! psshhh, cant beat it!!
RESPECT: AO
Yup, you’ll definitley be hearing more of Mr. Ade’s material around these parts. Shouts to my big homey LRod for the heads up. I believe this kid is under the wing of Raheem DeVaughn. Good stuff.
Cam, Jimmy, Juelz and Freekey visited the Hot 97 headquarters this past Friday where they sat down with Angie Martinez to discuss the “Salute” comeback single, Vado, Jimmy and Cam’s Kanye West diss, the Hot 97 Dipset reunion concert and more. This entire situation really doesn’t make any sense. It all stemmed from last night’s leak of the feature-heavy “So Appalled” where Hov rapped the lines, “Hammer went broke, so you know I’m more focused / I lost 30 mill, so I spent another 30 / ’cause unlike Hammer, 30 mill can’t hurt me.” It seemed like the truth got to Hammer quite quickly because he went to Twitter to respond to the line by calling Jay-Z #HellBoy (how original) and that the answer to Jay will arrive on Oct. 31. What a shameless plug.
If timing couldn’t have been any more appropriate, AllHipHop just put up a new interview with MC Hammer (which we’re sure was recorded a while back) where he talks about respecting Jay-Z and his whole “Death of Auto-Tune” movement. We’ll just go ahead and issue you your L and forget that this even happened by tomorrow. The truth hurts doesn’t it, Stanley?

Here’s one we missed in our super-duper Bonnaroo 2010 post of Jay-Z’s set. I think this might be the second time ever he’s performed the “Dynasty Intro.” The first time being in Germany at Rock am Ring.
Roc Nation’s rising star, J.Cole took the stage live at Xavier University. Filmed and Directed by Jason Young, Edited by Rhonda’Lyn.
Props to H.E.R.
